Cancellation Policy: We have a strict 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a full charge. Exceptions are made only for illness or emergencies. If you are unwell (with a cold, flu, or other contagious condition), please stay home — you will not be penalized under this policy. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in prepayment requirements for future appointments. Referral Program: Your referrals mean the world to us, and we would like to thank you with a $25 credit toward any treatment or gift certificate for every new client you refer. Payments: We prefer payment by personal check, Venmo, or cash. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card have a 2.5% surcharge. A $25.00 fee will be applied to all dishonored payments. All prices are subject to change. Packages: Packages, series, or prepaid sessions are non-refundable once purchased. If you need to reschedule sessions, Body Celebration will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you within our availability, but rescheduling requests do not entitle clients to refunds. Gift Certificates: We offer in-house and online Gift Certificates that can be used towards services and/or products. Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash, and Body Celebration – Holistic Skincare & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates. Discounts and Specials: Discounts and specials cannot be combined with other offers—only one coupon/discount/offer code per person. Gift Certificates cannot be combined with any discount or special offer. This includes Body Celebration online certificates and Body Celebration in-house certificates. Discounts and offers hold no cash value and are non-transferable. Merchandise Returns: Returned merchandise will be graciously accepted within 30 days for in-house credit or product exchange only, with no cash, Venmo, Check, or credit card refunds. We do not accept returns on any open or used makeup, products that have been used 50% or more, or any sale and/or discontinued items. Any allergic or adverse reactions to products must be reported within 48 hours of purchase or application. We reserve the right to refuse exchanges on opened products based on inspection. Disclaimer: The Practitioners at Body Celebration – Holistic Skincare & Wellness provide therapeutic bodywork and holistic skin care. We are Certified Massage Therapists and/or Licensed Estheticians. We are not medical doctors who diagnose or treat medical conditions; therefore, we will not provide preventive care, cures, or spinal manipulations for any diagnosis or disease, nor will we prescribe medications. Ethics: 1. At Body Celebration – Holistic Skincare & Wellness, we will always uphold the highest standards of professionalism. The following is our code of ethics, outlining what you can expect when working together. We are looking forward to serving you and appreciate your trust in us. 2. We are committed to providing personalized care and knowledgeable techniques in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. We will always use clean, sterilized equipment that complies with the State of California requirements. 3. We will provide a safe, comfortable, clean environment stocked with quality equipment, supplies, and products. 4. We will only provide those services for which we are qualified and (physically and emotionally) able and refer clients to appropriate specialists when work is outside our scope of practice or not in the client’s best interest. 5. We will customize all treatments to meet our client’s needs. 6. Our work is strictly therapeutic, and we will never engage in sexual activity with clients. We will respect each client regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health, and personal habits. 7. We will maintain the confidentiality of client information and refrain from discussing client care details, except if we have the client’s consent or are required to do so by law. 8. We will not work with clients if we have a cold, flu, or other communicable conditions, and we will contact each client with as much notice as possible to reschedule our appointments. 9. We do reserve the right to cancel an appointment at the last minute due to health concerns or an emergency. 10. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or end a session with a client who is not respectful or makes any unwanted comments or advances to Body Celebration Practitioners, other clients, or any other person on the premises of 1368 Lincoln Ave, San Rafael, CA 94901. By receiving services from Body Celebration – Holistic Skincare & Wellness, I acknowledge that the treatments are provided for relaxation and general wellness purposes. I understand that Body Celebration does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. I release Body Celebration – Holistic Skincare & Wellness, its practitioners, and staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damages that may arise from services provided. I have disclosed all relevant health information and will inform my practitioner of any changes to my condition.
