In 2017, Body Celebration’s founder, Corinna Joy Kavanagh participated in The Skin Games competition in the Bay Area. This competition is a rigorous challenge in which estheticians are assessed by a panel of judges and skin care experts from around the globe. The estheticians who participate must show the judges they are able to produce real results in an area of esthetic specialty. These results are documented through a series of video journal entries and submitted to the judges and panelists. The panel of judges is made up of renowned product specialists, scientists, and skin care gurus, as well as past years winners of The Skin Games competition.

Corinna participated in this contest, documenting her client’s progress with an 8-week video journal and before and after photos. Her all-encompassing approach made such an impact on the judges, they created a brand new awards category for Holistic Estheticians. Corinna was awarded the Outstanding Holistic Esthetician Award in 2017, which led to the creation of a permanent Holistic Esthetician category for all future Skin Games competitions.

Corinna has been invited back to The Skin Games 2018 as a judge for the Holistic Esthetician category. The event will take place on April 7, 2018 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
